sewing machines
In an effort to provide funds for the women of the church, One27 Ministries, Inc. is developing micro-enterprises in local churches. The women meet twice a week for fellowship, prayer and singing. This is not unlike the “sewing circles” which were one time popular in America. Five foot-powered sewing machines and cloth can be purchased for about $700 per church. This project provides opportunities for women, including widows, to learn an income producing skill and share Jesus to surrounding villagers.
